ASTEC 是由印尼球王球后夫妻魏仁芳Alan Budikusuma及王蓮香Susi Susanti所創立。魏仁芳是印尼 羽毛球運動員，1992年奧運會男單冠軍，同時也是是首位獲得奧運男單金牌的印尼選手。王蓮香為印尼著名羽毛球女單選手，1992年奧運會女單冠軍，1993年世錦賽冠軍。二人在1992年奧運會上大放異彩同時登頂，而在1999年一起正式封拍。下列是二個人在羽球生涯上所創造的紀錄。ASTEC所生產出的球拍皆由這二位世界級選手親身試打過再進行量產以確保其品質優越。
